I love theater. I did acting, directing, lighting, makeup, and props in college. I love to sing but I have no talent there. I love geeky things like Doctor Who, Firefly, Harry Potter, and logic problems. Every now and then I pick up cross stitching again, and jigsaw puzzles de-stress me.

What is your favorite thing about your career?
I get to meet amazing students and teach something I am passionate about. I love helping build confidence in math.

If you weren’t a math teacher, what would you do?
I would be an actor and director. Or a waitress trying to break into the business.

Which teacher had the greatest impact on you?
Mr. Unger nurtured my love of math and made me want to teach math, and Mrs. Brenner nurtured my love of theater and made me want to mentor high school students.

What is one of your life goals?
My biggest life goal so far has been to teach high school. Now that I've accomplished that, I think my next goal is to visit Australia again.

What is your favorite vacation spot or where you dream of vacationing?
My favorite is Disney but I would love to take a cruise to Australia and spend a few months traveling around the country.
