Mission Efforts
At Trinity Catholic High School, we characterize ourselves as a developing faith community. Essential to growth in committed faith is the need to foster ways of putting our faith into action, to implement ways of living as committed disciples. That is the purpose of Trinity's Mission Team Activities.
Mission Team
A group of dedicated students make up Trinity Catholic High School’s Mission Team. The group gathers throughout the year and plans mission activities, informs student, faculty and staff of the mission efforts and carries out the collection and delivery items and funds collected.
At the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year, the students met and scheduled several mission activities. Activities the mission team has planned:
OCTOBER - Collection of Halloween candies for St. Matthews Safe Streets Halloween Campaign
DECEMBER - New toy collection for Thrift Store to support Sts. Teresa dnd Bridgett Parish.
- Sale of Angel Baked Cookies to help support the North Grand Neighborhood Association in renovating homes in North Grand area.
JANUARY- MARCH - Plans for Grade School Trivia Night to raise funds for organization to be named later.
APRI - May - "Penny War" competition among classes to support Archdiocesan Mission Efforts.
The Mission Team is made up of students from all grade levels and is open to and welcomes all students.
