Mission Efforts
At Trinity Catholic High School, we characterize ourselves as a developing faith community. Essential to growth in committed faith is the need to foster ways of putting our faith into action, to implement ways of living as committed disciples. That is the purpose of Trinity's Mission Team Activities.
TRIVIA NIGHT
On Friday, March 19 the Missions Team sponsored a Family Trivia Night here at Trinity Catholic High School. The theme for the evening was "The Wild, Wild West." Families and friends enthusiastically gathered to play ten rounds of Trivia. The cafeteria was decorated to fit the theme, and games between rounds featured hoola-hoops for lassos and stick horses for galloping races. Students and faculty members donated items for both silent auction and raffle. The Trinity Missions Team was able to raise $750.00 for the Missouri Special Olympics.

Mission Team
A group of dedicated students make up Trinity Catholic High School’s Mission Team. The group gathers throughout the year and plans mission activities, informs student, faculty and staff of the mission efforts and carries out the collection and delivery items and funds collected.
At the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year, the students had scheduled the following mission activities:
OCTOBER - Collection of Halloween candies for St. Matthews Safe Streets Halloween Campaign
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER - Collection of Toys for Sts. Teresa and Bridget Parish toy sale; selling of "Angel Baked Cookies" in school cafeteria to benefit the North Grand Neighborhood Assistance Group
JANUARY-MARCH - Grade School / Family Trivia Night to raise funds for a local charity
APRIL - "Penny War" among classes to help support Talita Cum Association (Little girl, arise) Girls Home in Colombia, South America. This is an Archdiocesan sponsored mission project.
The Mission Team is made up of students from all grade levels and is open to and welcomes all students.
