Retreats

Freshmen Day of Recollection

The Freshmen Days of Recollection are held at St. Martin dePorres Parish.  The focus of the Freshmen experience is on building community.  Topics for the reflection include friendship, respect for others, self esteem, personal pride and the connectedness of all people.

Sophomore Day of Recollection

The Sophomore Day of Recollection is held at the Rigali Center in south St. Louis.  The experience is presented by the Sacred Heart Sisters who administer the youth Ministry office for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.  The Sophomore experience centers on Gospel values and incorporating those values into the student's personal lives.  The day features formal persentations, discussions and sharings, making of sand art and a class celebration of the Eucharist.

Junior Day of Recollection

The day of Recollection for the Juniors is regularly scheduled at Pallottine Renewal Center and is presented by Mr. Greg Robeson, an active youth minister in the St. Louis area, and Regional Youth coordinator for Southside Youth Ministry.  The Junior experience applies Gospel values to teen issues and decision making, challenging the Juniors to act maturely and responsibly in accord with conscience and south values.

Senior Retreat

Seniors participate in a two day, one night retreat experience.  The locations of the retreats are Il Ritiro, Sojourn Retreat Center, and the Marianist Apostolic Center.  Under the direction of the Marianist retreat coordinators and the REAP team, Seniors are given the opportunity to reflect on and integrate what they have gained in four years of faith formation here at Trinity Catholic High School and to look forward to the opportunities after high school.
