Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE)
Each year Trinity Catholic students compete in the Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering academic state competition against other schools of similar size.
The team takes tests written by college and university faculty in the subject areas of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering Graphics, English, Mathematics and Physics. The team competes at Regional level and then has the opportunity to advance to the Sectional and State Championship levels.
Trinity Catholic teams have consistently finished in the top five of the state competition and in 2012 won the state championship. Chemistry and Physics teacher Frank Cange assembles the team of students who compete each year.
See Mrs. Taillon if you are interested in joining.
