What is your favorite thing about your career?
Helping young people figure out who they are, what they believe, and how to live a life that will make them and others happier.
If you weren't a teacher, what would you be doing?
Isn't it crazy that when we have a baby, they just let us leave the hospital without any training? One day I might try to start a non-profit that pays parents to take parenting classes and works with their family individually. Trying to be a great parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world. So much in this world starts with family, yet we often give families so little support and guidance.
What teachers had the greatest impact on you?
Any teacher that taught me to think critically about the world around me and got me to ask questions that I had never asked before.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Visiting my dear friends in El Salvador
