Curriculum Highlights

Freshmen, while studying the Jewish roots of the Old Testament, learn first hand about Jewish faith and traditions from young Jewish teens representing the Jewish Community Relations Organization of St. Louis.

Relating the image, vision and importance of the Blessed Mother to the mission of her son and our mission as disciples, freshmen students create a shareable iPad project on one of the Church approved Apparitions of Mary.

To experience an understanding of sacraments, sophomores create ceremonies celebrating the important events in our lives—adoption, retirement, becoming a father, etc.

Juniors, using their iPads and the internet, research local parish histories in their Church History course assisting them to learn more about the local Church.

Juniors research current moral issues to take part in live debates in their Morality class.

Seniors put their imprint on a typical Catholic wedding—they select their readings and music and compose prayers and vows (in the spirit of the traditional vows).
