Katie Schlueter - Campus Minister
BA in Theological Studies, St. Joseph’s College
Who is your favorite person in your field?
Pope Saint John Paul the Great. His love for Jesus, Mary, and human beings- especially young people- inspires me as a campus minister.
If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be doing?
In another life, I would own a pretty little florist/coffee shop with a lot of cheery, bright colors and delicious coffee!
What teacher(s) had the greatest impact on you?
She wasn’t my teacher per se, but St. Thèrése of Lisieux has had a major influence in my faith life. Her “Little Way” to holiness has taught me a lot about the importance of relying on God while having a childlike faith.
What are your life goals?
To live in St. Louis with my husband, future children, and our cat(s).
What is your favorite vacation spot?
The Chick-Fil-A app
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I get to serve Christ through ministering to young people. It’s simply the best!
I love: spending time with my husband, the city of St. Louis, and of course, the Catholic Church!
What is the one thing you couldn’t teach without?
Prayer and the support of others, especially the support of my husband and the Trinity Community!
