Trinity 2020 Scholar Athlete...
...Sydney Juszczyk, Class of 2021
The honors and accomplishments continue to pile up for Trinity Catholic senior track and field standout Sydney Juszczyk. After earning consecutive Missouri Class 3 state championships in the javelin in 2018 and 2019, Juszczyk recorded a 164-feet, 7-inch toss this past July at the HammermanUSA All-Throwers League Meet in Aurora, Illinois. That distance made Juszczyk the top female high school javelin thrower in the United States.
As a freshmen in 2018, Juszczyk won the Missouri state javelin championship with a throw of 142-feet, 3-inches and a year later tossed the javelin 152-feet, 1-inch to win a second state title and help the Trinity Catholic girls team to its first state team championship. At the 2019 state meet, Juszczyk also picked up a state championship medal as part of the Titans’ 4x100 Meter Relay Team. Unfortunately the 2020 girls track and field season at Trinity Catholic was canceled due to Covid-19.
In addition to track and field, Juszczyk has also displayed her athletic ability in volleyball, basketball and softball and Juszczyk exels in the classroom with a 3.54 grade point average.
Congratulations Sydney on all of your accomplishments. We know there will be many more in the future.
